I started The Apothehairy out of my kitchen out of a desire to learn about hair growth - I myself have struggled with thin, flat hair in the past and it takes me ages to grow it out. I would constantly get to the point where I would do big chops on my hair out of frustration, because even when it got long, it was so thin and damaged!

I eventually started to do some research on plants that I could use to assist with my hair growth. I made my first serum, a simple steeped mix of cinnamon, rosemary, and coconut oil. The difference was immediately insane! Even just using it as my hair air dried or was blow dried, my hair was looking fuller, shinier, and eventually longer.

I am the type of person who always wants to help her community, and I'm driven by research and curiosity! So, I started to recruit willing family members and friends to help test my products after extensive research. Ranging from pattern balding to curl definition, I managed to create a line of products I swear by on a daily basis.
